What Heroku is

Heroku is a proprietary platform as a service that builds and runs applications in managed dyno containers, with pipelines, logs, data products and marketplace add-ons. ISPConfig is a free, BSD-licensed control panel for administering Linux web, mail, DNS, database, FTP, shell and cron services. The core software has no license fee, but servers, administration, monitoring, backups and incident response remain the operator's responsibility.
