What it is
OVHcloud is a proprietary infrastructure provider offering Public Cloud compute, Kubernetes, databases, storage and networking alongside VPS, dedicated servers and hosted private cloud. Public Cloud is normally pay-as-you-go by actual resource usage, with optional monthly or commitment pricing and a promotional trial credit. Instance prices do not automatically include attached storage, backup, extra IPs, load balancers or every regional network charge; resources continue billing until deleted, not merely powered off.

- Regional differences: Product availability, prices and outbound-traffic treatment vary by location and contracting entity.
- Customer operations remain substantial: VM patching, identity, application availability, backups and recovery require explicit ownership.

Our verdict
OVHcloud is credible for cost-conscious infrastructure and European deployments, but select an exact product and region; model every attached resource, automate deletion and budgets, and prove multi-zone availability plus off-system restoration before production.
