What GetResponse is
GetResponse is an email marketing platform that has grown into course selling, webinars and a website builder, and its plans separate on automation depth rather than send volume — every paid tier advertises unlimited monthly email sends. The Starter plan includes exactly one custom automation workflow, which is the feature most buyers are actually shopping for; unlimited workflows, segmentation and abandoned-cart recovery begin on Marketer at three times the price. Prices also move with list size through a contact selector, so the published figures are the floor for the smallest list rather than a flat rate.
What Typeform is
Typeform turned the boring online form into a conversational experience. Instead of a long list of questions, Typeform asks them 'one at a time,' mimicking a human conversation. This approach significantly increases completion rates and provides a much better user experience. With its beautiful design, complex logic jumps, and deep integrations, it is the premier choice for brands that want to collect data without annoying their customers.

- You have a large contact list: published prices are for the default list size and rise with the contact selector
- You need SSO, a dedicated IP or a dedicated sending domain, which are Enterprise and quote-only
- You teach more than 500 students on Creator, where student management moves to Enterprise
Choose Typeform if
- Forms where completion rate matters — one question at a time is the whole product
- Low volume: the free plan covers 100 responses a month with unlimited questions
- Buyers comparing entry cost: Basic is $25/mo billed annually
Skip Typeform if
- You collect real volume — free stops at 100 responses/month and Basic also includes only 100

- You want a simple cheap form; this is priced as a conversion tool, not a form builder

Typeform: pros & cons

- Logic Jumps: Ask follow-up questions based on the user's previous answers.
- Video Support: Embed videos and use VideoAsk to create truly interactive forms.

Our verdict on GetResponse
Starter is only enough if you genuinely need one automation. Most buyers land on Marketer, so compare against that price, not the headline.
Our verdict on Typeform
One question at a time, which measurably lifts completion rates on longer forms.

GetResponse vs Typeform: common questions
- Does GetResponse integrate with Typeform?
- Not with a connector GetResponse builds itself, as far as we can verify. GetResponse's own integration directory carries pages for JotForm, Gravity Forms, Paperform, Formstack, 123ContactForm and Contact Form 7 — but there is no Typeform page in it, and the expected URL returns a 404 (checked 10 September 2026). Two routes work in practice: Zapier, which publishes prebuilt actions such as creating or updating a GetResponse contact from a new Typeform entry, or a Typeform webhook posting into the GetResponse API if you would rather not add a third subscription. - Are Typeform and GetResponse actually alternatives to each other?
- Mostly no, and the pricing shows why. Typeform is priced on responses collected — free up to 100 responses a month, then $25/month annually for Basic at the same 100-response cap, $50 for 1,000 and $83 for 10,000. GetResponse is priced on what you do with contacts afterwards — Starter from $15.58/month annually with unlimited monthly email sends and one automation workflow, Marketer from $48.38 for unlimited automation. GetResponse does include its own signup forms, so it can replace a simple Typeform; it will not replace conditional logic-heavy forms. Most teams run both and pass data between them.
