What it is
Yoast SEO is the most widely installed SEO plugin for WordPress. The free version handles the fundamentals — titles and meta descriptions, XML sitemaps, schema output and the readability and keyphrase checks that show up under the editor. Premium is not a different plugin but an unlock: it adds the redirect manager, internal linking suggestions, up to five keyphrases per page and bundles the Local, Video and News SEO plugins. For most sites the free version is genuinely enough; the redirect manager is what usually forces the upgrade.
